Cold/Windy/Wet. That pretty much sums up the night. A lot of plugged balls and divots all over the course last week. For once, they didnt let carts out so maybe the course wont end up completely torn up this year. Scores were much better this week, as it looks like some people shook the rust off from the previous week.

Low round went to Bry Savage with a 37. Low net round went to Bob Martin, who fired a -2 (33). After two weeks, Bryan and TJ sit atop the standings by half a point over several teams.

Memorable shot of the night reported to me, and witnessed by me, came from Sue Hopkins. On the 8th hole, a well struck approach shot was heard/not seen smacking off the wood guard rail behind the hole, bouncing back towards the hole and not into the street. Luck? I think not. I heard her call backboard on her followthrough. Nice shot Sue.

If your handicaps look different newbies, its because you are still in the provisional phase until this next round. We need 3 recorded scores before you are assigned your true handicap for the course. The handicap used for week 2 was the better of your first week or second week handicap. After this week, expect your handicap to go up a stroke or two. If you want more info on this, just email me.

Pace of play was slightly better last night, but still not fast. Make sure you are at the tee box at least 10 minutes before your time, so yo can get started asap. Note to groups; if the group ahead of you is not present in full, you are allowed to skip them if your foursome is ready. The first group should be tee'd off at 430 usually. We were 20 mniutes behind our scheduled times, and 30 behind where we could be. Please make an effort to be early and ready to play.
