Week 11

All I remember from last week was it being super hot and super slow. Also, people were shooting very low scores. Zupcak led the night with a 37, as Team Zups/Hahn sit atop the leader border, tied with Team Mueller/Hanvey.

The league before us is always off early and we are usually off late. There's a 10-15 minute gap I've noticed that happens each week, whether its between us and the other league, or between the first two groups of ours. From now on, I've moved up all tee times by 8 minutes. The first tee time is now scheduled for 4:28, with the last tee time for 5:08. If 1 of 2 teams is not present at time of tee off, the twosome waiting MUST tee off and the late team will join them at whatever hole they get to. All holes not played will count as double par.

We can't be sitting around the tee waiting for groups with holes open in front of us. We should be done every week by 7:40 for all groups. In addition to moved up tee times, lets please adhere to the ready golf principal. If your team is obviously holding up groups behind you, do not wait for other players farther from the hole to hit first to walk to your own ball, or play your own ball. Proper golf etiquette is to wait for those further from the hole to hit first, but if you are holding up other groups, please play ready golf. I shouldn't see two people waiting for one person to hit, especially if your foursome is playing slow. Get to your ball quickly, without waiting for others to hit. This will speed up play tremendously as you will already be at your ball and not have to walk after the other player has hit. You're "READY" to hit! Lastly, I did not hear from anyone about playing for SKINS each week. If you would like to add some side bets to the rounds each week, let me know and we will start a pool each week. $3-$5 a person will be good.

If you dont know what SKINS are, check out youtube or send me an email.
