Some highlights/lowlights from this past week.
- Team Hoerner/Hopkins made the biggest jump this week, from 6th to 3rd place.
- Team Murph/Schaef made the biggest plummet, from 5th to 8th place.
- Lee Hanvey had his fill on hole 11, managing to net negative yardage on one, possibly two shots with the help of some trees, and finish with a nice snowman.
- Both Wiemer/Devlin and Mueller/Savage/Hanvey took 4 points in their match, and no change amonst the top two teams.
- Team Kent/Weaver escaped the cellar of the standings, and were replaced by Team Knittel/(not)Porter
- Individual standings are still very close, with no one pulling away yet. Mens leader by 0.5 pts is Mueller, and women's leader is Hopkins by 0.5 pts over House.
10 people beat or matched thier handicaps this week. More than a third of the league! Leading the pack were Bob Martin(44/34), Jeff W(45/34), and Kurt(44/34). Best Gross went to Jake W this week, with a 41.
Glenn bought rounds at the Elmwood Inn without a rock, paper or scissor being thrown...and there was much rejoicing. Im still pro-RPS, but if people are going to keep volunteering, im sure no one will complain. Be sure to reward them with a beverage of their own at some time or another, on or off the course. You are also rewarded with the cover page photo, as i actually remembered to take at least one photo this past week.
Nice par Glenn.
Reminder, any good/bad/ugly happenings or photos from a round, send them over or write them down on the back of the card before you hand them in. That's it for now, any subs for this week, let me know.
