Week 14

8 subs in week 14 is clearly something we don't want to see out there week in, week out. Hopefully that was a statistical outlier and we see near full attendance the rest of the way. The good news is everyone found a sub, and no groups were stuck playing 3 v 4. If this does happen in the coming weeks, remember that the single player can still take 3 out of 4 possible points.

Three subs were/are still playing with provisional handicaps, which can vary greatly from week to week until they have 3 scores recorded. If there are any questions on a handicap you see on the results page, feel free to email me, and ill show you how we calculate provisional handicaps for subs/new players.

For the second time this year, Team Wiemer/Devlin played Mueller/Savage/Sub, this time taking 3 out of 4 and increasing their lead to 4 points over 2nd place. Wiemer took low round of the week with a 37/30 paired with a 47/34 from Devlin. This was enough to beat Mueller 39/32 and Leidlein 39/35 in a very close match. Nice shooting everyone.

The same cant be said for one Dave Porter, who struggled his way around the course last Thursday, to a personal best and weekly high score of 60! Just one of those weeks i guess.

On this weeks cards, there will be a column for each player to mark whether or not they can attend the golf party on September 11th. Please fill this out before you hand in your card tomorrow.
