The course was playable after a day of rain, but the mosquitos were out in full force. Most golfers were seen still wearing long sleeves after the rain had stopped. Holes 1 & 2 were especailly bad, and maybe that was a factor in multiple 9's and 10's on the hole. I don't know if that was Blaine's excuse or not...
The top 4 teams in the standings had matchups versus eachother this week, with Team Knttel/Butler taking down Murphy,Schaefer and Mueller/Hanvey taking down Wiemer/Devlin. Happy to report, no broken clubs between Hanvey/Devlin.
Knittel continues to hammer away at his handicap and competition, besting his handicap by 2 and took over the top spot in the individual mens standings. The womans standings are abot dead even, with partners Sara and Alison at 4 pts, and Sue and Falon right on their heals with 3.5 pts. Should be an interesting next few weeks to sort everything out.
This week will be Tom Weaver's last week in the league, as he is ditching the league, and hometown, for a new job in sunny San Diego. Bob/Turner, be sure to send him off with a nice butt kicking. Taking over for Tom after this week will be one of our super subs, Don Middleton.
