Week 3 - Where's the Beer cart?

There's a lot of reasons rounds go from good to bad. Take Russell Knox from TPC Saturday for instance. Putting it in the water on three consecutive tee shots. Ouch...
There are other "excuses" we hear all the time, and this week was the angst of running low on beer.
It was the 6th hole before our group caught a glimpse of the beer cart. Lee, coming off a birdie on the 5th hole and playing even for the day, tried flagging her down, only to be given the classic be right back line. 10 minutes later, Lee acquired his swing juice as we watched her skip over our group and go to the group behind us. The delay clearly affected his play, going +1,+2,+2,+1 to finish out what was once a promising round. Only one visit in a round clearly isn't ideal, so if you were also lacking beverages, and that's why you started playing badly, let me know so i can tell the course.
Through 3 weeks, team Zups/Hahn holds a lead over the rest of the league. Bob is the only player to win all his individual matches this year. Turner ran into super sub Dave Leidlein this week, and if you bet the over on 1.5 this week on club throws, you won.
It seems there is an abundance of subs this year looking to play each week. Still trying to figure out the best way to communicate to everyone when they do. Any suggestions are welcome, but right now it will just be an email I forward to league. I may end up posting it somewhere on the website each week, TBD.
Again, please let me know by noon on Thursdays if you are having a sub. That's when cards are printed.
